BearBoat Syrah, made from 100% Syrah grapes, is deep ruby red in color with pronounced aromas of red raspberry and black pepper spice with slight hints of dried Herbs de Provence. On the palate, it is full bodied with rich chocolaty texture, balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish. Syrah grapes are 100% de-stemmed for optimal fruit and tannin purity. Only slow growing, tightly grained oak trees are sourced for the barrels, leading to more refined flavor and tannin richness. The Syrah aging process is varied, which leads to layers of complexity and balance. A wonderful complement to braised short ribs, duck and pork chili verde.
