This Cabernet Sauvignon delivers a beautiful, deep ruby red colour. Intense notes of plum, cassis, blueberries and black pepper, combined with softer earthy traces, menthol, vanilla and smoked. Fully and intense with a persistant and elegant finish. Ideal with all kinds of red meats, pate, lamb and game included. It keeps its own against spices in sauces or strong condiments and it is an especially good idea to serve it with dishes that include this variety in their cooking (Boeuf Bourguignon is the ultimate example). When pairing it with cheeses, choose dry and/or strong-flavoured ones along the lines of Brie, Gorgonzola, Camembert or Cheddar. |
