Rich, ripe fruit dominate the nose with aromas of currant, boysenberry, blackberry and black cherry all intermingling. They are complimented by notes of vanilla, sweet spice and oak. The fruit continues onto the palate where the wine is balanced and bright, with round supple tannins and a nice lingering finish.
With this wine, we dream of eating grilled turkey burgers on back decks, Carolina barbeque-style ribs by a fire pit, Jamaican Jerk chicken on the beach or sauerkraut topped vegetarian sausages at home.
74% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Syrah, 4% Petit Sirah, 2% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot
