In Liarís Dice Zinfandel, Murphy Goode created their most passionate wine Ė one thatís so sweet and juicy, itíll leave you wanting more. Their 2006 vintage is a combination of both Dry Creek and Alexander Valley fruit. The Dry Creek grapes are sourced from Walt Diedenís vineyard and contribute a peppery and spiced fruit quality. Their grapes from the Alexander Valley were sourced from the 80-year-old vines at Ellis Ranch, the 30-year-old dry farmed vines of Elaine Maria and the Trusendi Ranch. The Alexander Valley fruit imparts rich, dark fruit characteristics for overall flavors of black raspberry and blackberry jam. Soft tannins perfectly balance the sweetness of the fruit.
Liarís Dice was made for the backyard barbecue. It sings when paired with lip-smacking baby-back ribs, pulled-pork sandwiches, burgers or anything that combines sweet and spicy flavor. Get grilliní with this one!
