The fortified farmhouse of Mas Rabell, built in the fourteenth century, stands at the foot of the castle of Sant Martí Sarroca, surrounded by an impressive landscape of mountains and vines. This traditional Masia has now been converted into a cosy private restaurant. It is after this farmhouse that Torres Mas Rabell, the house wine of the Torres family, is named. This wine reflects the healthy Mediterranean tradition of drinking wine with food.
Made from Garnacha and Cariñena grapes, this wine has been aged in French and American oak barrels for 6 months. The perfect accompaniment for our typical traditional dishes: from legumes to rice dishes with meat and vegetables; from char-grilled meats to traditional stews. Serve at 18ºC.
Deep dark crimson colour. Cleanly Mediterranean, it offers seductive aromas of fruits (blackberries) and spices. Its soft tannins offer a velvety palate, with notes of fine liquorice and forest fruits.
