This mouthwatering Chardonnay showcases the perfect marriage of vineyards for a complex combination of aromas and flavors. The Chardonnay grape has roots in Chablis, the chilly northern region of Burgundy, France. It’s no surprise, then, that this vine yields its most balanced, flavorful wines in the coolest wine regions of California, especially those along the Pacific Coast. They selected Chardonnay from vineyards in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties to give their Chardonnay white floral and tropical fruit notes, with a hint of lemon meringue pie. Grapes from Monterey County provide crisp green apple and citrus character and enhance the wine’s bright, balanced acidity. Subtle spice nuances from oak aging weave through the creamy, lingering finish.
