"Tight, chewy and earthy. Full-bodied and complex, offering a mix of earthy currant, anise and dried berry fruit that ends up on the dry and tannic side. Drink now through 2014. 125,000 cases made. –JL" -Rated 87, Wine Spectator

"One of the finest bargains in California Cabernet Sauvignon must be Louis M. Martini’s outstanding 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma. The good news is there are 140,000 cases produced. Fabulously sweet aromas of black currants, licorice, and cedar soar from the glass of this medium to full-bodied wine. With silky tannins as well as surprising concentration, depth, and texture, this 2006 should drink well for 8-10 years." -Rated 90, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"A nice Cab that shows the structure and purity of good terroir. It could use more concentration and intensity, but is totally dry and has savory black currant, mocha and cedar flavors. Drink now. — S.H. (2/1/2009)" -Rated 86, Wine Enthusiast
