The fruit for our Archetype Shiraz was sourced from low-yielding (3-5 tons/acre), dry farmed vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valley regions of South Australia. These are among Australia’s most famous vineyard regions, and the grapes for our wines come from family vineyards ranging in size from 5 to 500 acres, with some of the vines as old as 50 years. These grapes produce wines of great character and intensity.
