This wine has a bright nose of cherry, cocoa and coffee with just a hint of olive and dust. It is medium-bodied and well structured. The wine offers complex flavors of tea and cran-raspberry, layered with both white and dark chocolate. The long complex finish ends with a wisp of smoky oak.
Medium-rare Prime Rib, snap peas and Yorkshire pudding would be the perfect choice for this forward and complex Talus Cabernet; but so would any grilled or roasted red meat, mild cheese or red-sauced pasta dish
