"This is a nice, plush Cabernet, soft and sweet in blackberry, currant and chocolate fruit flavors, but its not a classic example of Mount Veeder Cabs, which are usually drier and more tannic. Drink in the short term. S.H. (2/1/2009)" -Rated 87, Wine Enthusiast
"There are two stories here and neither of them is particularly promising. The wine, although not absent fruit, has more of a berryish cast to its character than the deeper, broader qualities expected of Cabernet Sauvignon. Its tannins, however, are all hillside Cabernet and simply get in the way even though future improvement is hard to foresee." -Rated 85, Connoisseur's Guide to California Wines
