"This blend of 35% Mourvedre, 35% Grenache, 20% Carignan, and 10% Syrah reveals a big, meaty, earthy, leathery, gamy nose dominated by the Mourvedre component. Tasting more like a Bandol than a St.-Chinian, it possesses a deep ruby/purple color in addition to fine underlying minerality, and a dense, chewy, formidably structured style.
