Maroon in color with blackish hues. On the nose it reveals blackberry, black pepper and mulberry. It is a persistent wine with a spicy and intense mouthfeel and young tannins provided by its ageing in French and American oak for 3 months.
"The 2007 La Linda Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 3-4 months in seasoned oak. Dark ruby-colored, it displays an enticing nose of cedar, spice box, black currant, and blackberry. Medium- to full-bodied, it has layered, spicy fruit, light tannin, excellent balance, and solid length. Drink this fine value over the next 5-6 years." -Rated 87, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
