Full dark ruby-violet color. Rich coffee-chocolate scents of new oak and a hint of licorice frame intense, blackberry, violet and pepper aromas with hints of Italian plums. Full-bodied, succulent flavors show rich sweet berry-jam fruit and soft tannins, with a warm but sweet berry finish. Firm acidity provides freshness, while never intruding on the wine’s fundamental richness and supple texture.
