The 2005 Carneros Pinot Noir is medium-bodied, with dark plum, dried raspberry, blueberry and light toast flavors. It is a well-structured wine, with lingering fruit and spice on the finish and gentle, rounded tannins. An excellent food wine, it pairs nicely with steak with wild mushroom sauce, grilled salmon and simple pizza Margherita.
