The vineyards were planted to Sauvignon Blanc in 1983. The wine derives its name from the "alteni," small stone walls that once surrounded the orchards in the area, and "brassica," the yellow flowers that cover the vineyards in the spring.
Reviews:
"Aromas of apricot, orange and mango follow through to a full body, with bright acidity and a mineral, apple pie and honey aftertaste. Thoroughly rich and balanced. Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now. 750 cases made. –JS" -Rated 93, Wine Spectator
