Tamari Malbec comes from the Uco Valley and high zones of the Mendoza River in Argentina. The vineyard is at an altitude of 1050 meters above seal level and the young loam soils are of alluvial origin with a stoney surface. The vineyards are located on hillsides allowing for great drainage; is stony, poor and fast draining. The climate is well balanced between warm daytime temperatures and cool nightime temperatures, good isolation and low rain level - bringing out the finest qualities of the Malbec varietal. Be sure to try this fruity, concentrated wine with grilled red meats, quail, partridge, strong cheeses and with fish like salmon and tuna with heavy sauces.
Color: Deep intense reddish-purple
Aroma: Expressive and intense with aromas of flower notes such as violets and jasmine, plums, cherries and chocolate. Notes of intense hazelnuts, almonds and cinnamon result from the oak aging.
Taste: Very fruity, concentrated and complete, with sweet ripe tannins and a persistent and elegant finish that invites you to drink more wine. Stands out as a very persistent ripe fruity retro taste.
