Deep dark red with a purple hue. Lifted notes of blackberry, dark chocolate, baking spices, hung meats, lavender and pipe smoke. This Shiraz is rich and generous in all proportions. The fruit crashes and cascades across all corners of the palate as only a Barossa Shiraz can. Deep notes of blackberry, chocolate, baking spices and smoked meat are complimented by floral top notes of lavender and potpourri. Lovely and textural across the palate, the gritty, savory tannins are accentuated by notes of pipe smoke, coal dust and wet earth. A refreshing burst of acidity provides the perfect foil to compliment a long deep finish.

Reviews:

"Supple and velvety, with generous flavors of plum, fresh currant and spice, hinting at coffee and cream as the finish lingers effortlessly against refined tannins. Has presence, harmony and persistence. The finish lasts and lasts. Best from 2017 through 2023." -Rated 94, Wine Spectator

"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Shiraz Bella's Garden has wonderfully pure black and blue fruit notes of crushed blackberries, wild blueberries and cassis with nuances of black pepper, star anise, tar and cumin seed. Big, rich and concentrated in the mouth, the full-bodied palate bursts with peppered blackberry flavors supported by firm, grainy tannins and lively acidity, finishing with great persistence." -Rated 94, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Glass-staining ruby. High-pitched black raspberry, cherry and floral pastille aromas are complemented by suggestions of Indian spices and smoky minerals. Sappy and deeply concentrated, conveying strong lift to its red and dark berry and spicecake flavors. The floral and mineral notes comes back emphatically on the penetrating finish, which features smooth, slowly building tannins and lingering spiciness." -Rated 93, Vinous
