The Heinz Eifel Eiswein (Ice Wine) is a gastronomic specialty made from hand-picked frozen grapes. These frozen grapes produce only a small amount of highly concentrated juice. Eiswein can age for many years or can be enjoyed now. Enjoy with blue cheese, fruit desserts or as dessert on its own.
This Eiswein was harvested from sandy/gravelly soils in the Rheinhessen in the early AM hours at the frigid temperature of below 14°F with an astounding concentration of 145 Oechsle (over 33 Brix).
