Freisa produces a medium-bodied red wine, that can be done in both dry and sweet styles as well as slightly effervescent to fully bubbly reds. They mostly come from central Piemonte, around the town of Asti. Dry or slightly sweet, with or without some level of natural carbonation, Freisa offers a cherry red color with bright aromas and flavors of wild red raspberries, cherries and strawberries. La Fiera Rosso Dolce has a ruby red color with pink reflections. The bouquet is aromatic and fragrant with pleasant notes of cherries, raspberries, and strawberries. The palate is delicately sweet, fruity and fresh with slight effervescence. |
