For the 2009 vintage, Tiamo is bottled as Chianti DOCG, and certified 'made with 100% organic grapes'. The grower has 18 hectares of certified organic vineyards sitting at an elevation of 800 feet in the Montespertoli hills near Florence. Grapes are grown in sandy clay with sea fossil deposits and are all hand-picked at low yields. |
