Chenin Blanc is one of the grapes I’ve always loved for its versatility—great for sipping alone on a warm spring afternoon and equally as satisfying with shellfish, smoked salmon or linguine tossed with olive oil, garlic, parmesan and Italian parsley. My winemaking partner Laurie Hook likes to pair its layered citrus, ginger spice and honeyed flavors with more exotic Asian-spiced dishes or curries from India.
