The name of an old Campbeltown distillery, Longrow was first distilled at Springbank in 1973. This whisky is double distilled in the traditional Scottish manner from malt dried entirely over a peat fire. It has inspired an obsessive cult following, due to its powerful peat smoke character and partly due to its very limited availability. |
