The blend comprises 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir & 30% Pinot Meunier & the grapes come both from the house's own vineyards & long-term contract growers. Another factor, which helps give this non-vintage some good maturity, is that the house ages the wine for 3 - 4 years. It has a pale lemon colour & a well-balanced mousse. The gentle bouquet has hints of citrus which blossom on the palate. It leaves quite a creamy finish. Perfect with shellfish or as an aperitif. Rated: 89 / 100 Beverage Tasting Institute Inc. |
