 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A lagering period of not less than 90 days, a great provenance and a 700 years old brewing tradition guarantee the exceptional quality of Czechvar Premium Lager. Czechvar light lager has a thick rich head and markedly golden yellow colour. The bouquet is pronounced, typically beer-like, accentuating a hoppy aroma. Its bitterness is of a weak to medium intensity, gentle to slightly coarse character with a short-lived aftertaste. The fullness is medium and malty. The lager has a medium to robust body, which makes the drinker feel like taking another sip.
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Lager is a generic name for all sorts of light-colored beers. The name comes from Germany and means “stored” beer. Strangely enough it is not brewed in Germany but is found almost exclusively in English-speaking countries.
The whole brewing process, from brewhouse and fermentation to maturation, is to be described as traditional and classic. Very strict control of the recipe and highly efficient quality control have made Heineken beer as successful as it is. The characteristics of Heineken include its fresh and fruity yeast aroma ('Heineken A-yeast') and its mildly bitter taste, enhancing the drinkability of the beer. In our marketing strategy, this beer obviously is the 'A' brand.
The raw materials include: water, Heineken's unique A-yeast, malted barley and hops. No additives are added to any Heineken products. Heineken does not use any wheat in their recipe. They also have a policy of not using GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) raw materials.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | One of the rarest beers in the world, brewed only once a year on December 6th, subsequently fermented and matured for about 10 months before bottling in October.
Thus Samichlaus is a vintage beer and with around 14 % of alcohol by volume the strongest bottom-fermented lager in the world. Samichlaus may be aged in the bottle for many years to come. Older vintages become more complex with a creamy warming finish. Serve with hardy robust dishes and desserts, particularly with chocolates, or as an after dinner drink by itself - as a companion for meditations at the fireplace... Samichlaus is filled in personalized 330 ml. bottles, exported to exclusive distribution partners' worldwide mainly through pre-orders prior to bottling in October each year. Samichlaus contains only natural ingredients and is being brewed according the purity law of 1516.
| | | | | Samichlaus is brewed only once a year, on Dec. 6, and aged for 10 months before bottling. This somewhat lighter, helles version, bottled in 2007, was apparently made especially for the American market. At 14 percent alcohol by volume, it's one of the strongest beers you'll find right now. But it's dangerously drinkable, with a lovely pale amber color, a toasty malt aroma and an exquisitely concentrated, liqueur-like sweetness that some may find cloying. A beer this big is an ideal candidate for cellaring, and it will be interesting to see how further aging may dry it out and reveal some of the vanilla and spice notes lurking beneath the sugar.

Its lightly hopped, malty character delivers the perfect balance of bitter and sweet beer flavours.
