This shy-bearing Vignoles (veen' yole) grape has become the jewel of Missouri white wines. The difficult-to-grow variety achieves its richest complexities in the warm and sunny vineyards of Missouri. The 2005 vintage is made from 100% Vignoles grapes harvested at their peak of maturity.
Stone Hill's Vignoles exudes rich, fresh tropical fruit flavors and aromas. Fermentation is stopped at just the right moment to achieve the perfect balance of natural sweetness. Itís a fine accompaniment for spicy foods such as Asian and Mexican dishes. Youíll also enjoy sipping it by itself or with desserts such as fresh fruit or raspberry cheesecake.
