Often regarded as the ultimate expression of the rum-maker's art. Distilled in traditional copper pot stills, Appleton Extra is a superb blend of rums, many of which have been aged for as long as 18 years. Its bold character and smooth taste can easily be compared to the exemplary qualities of a fine cognac or single malt Scotch. It is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a "topper" in exotic tropical drinks.
