Bouchaine’s estate-grown Pinot Noir comes from new plantings on their rolling hills in the foggy and cool Carneros, Napa Valley appellation. The Bouchaine Estate Vineyard is among the southernmost plantings in Napa Carneros and encompasses the highest landmark terraces in this region, so celebrated for its Pinot Noirs. This limited release Pinot is handcrafted from the finest select blocks of their family-owned vineyard and offers depth and power, balanced with grace and elegance. Barrel aged for 12 months in 75% new French and Hungarian oak, this wine offers smoky overtones, a splash of dark cherries, and a lingering finish, showing off the exuberant nature of Bouchaine’s Pinot Noirs. This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with a number of grilled or roasted menu selections. Try it with crispy braised duck or roasted pork tenderloins in dried cherry relish.
