YPIOCA CACHACA PRATA
Cachaša's history dates back to the 16th century when Cachaša achieved a valued status.
The Prata, or Silver, is in a straw-wrapped bottled, made entirely by hand by the women working at Ypioca in Brazil. The Prata is clear in color and aged for two years in Brazilian Freijˇ wood barrels. Cachaša is a genuine Brazilian beverage produced through the fermentation of pure sugar cane juice. Established in 1846, Ypiˇca is the largest estate producer of Cachaša in brazil, and produces the only cask aged Cachaša on the market! Cachaša is the key ingredient in the legendary caipirinha cocktail - the National Drink of Brazil!
Clear with a faint straw cast. Cane stalk, confectioner's sugar, banana leaf, and peppery spice aromas. A soft, satiny entry leads to a dryish medium-to-full body of sweet cream, talc, white pepper, and mineral flavors. Finishes with creamy, spicy green banana and wet stone fade. A very nice mixer for caipirinhas.
