The 2001 San Francisco World Spirits Competition judges have awarded a Double Gold Medal to Tito's Handmade Vodka in the vodka category. A DOUBLE Gold is presented only when the tasting panel of experts is unanimous in their selection of a Gold Medal winner. This prestigious event received seventy-one vodka entries from around the world. Tito's Handmade Vodka's DOUBLE GOLD medal placed it above other respected brands, such as Stolichnaya, Ketel One, Belvedere, Chopin, Skyy, Smirnoff, Friis, Born and many others. It is interesting to note that Tito's Handmade Vodka was also competing against these brand's flavored vodkas, which might have been seen as unfair advantage, but evidently it was not. We have ordered a supply of small gold foil labels to be affixed to our bottles at the distillery to announce this impressive win to our customers. We have been saying, "Tito's Handmade Vodka is the finest vodka made in America and maybe the world" I guess we can drop the maybe! |
