Chateau Penin been family owned since 1854. It consists of approximately 23 hectares (57 acres) planted merlot, cabernet franc, and cabernet sauvignon. The rocky gravelly soil gives the wine a unique character unlike others in the region. The Chateau Penin Tradition is a blend of merlot 85%, cabernet sauvignon 10% and cabernet franc 5%. |
