Robert Parker Review 85-87 Firm, tannic, and structured, this blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot exhibits unintegrated tannin along with pure fruit, dusty black currant and cherry notes intermixed with a hint of earth and cedar. Well-made, but slightly austere and tannic at present, it should be at its finest between 2009-2017. Wine Spectator Review 89-91 Intense aromas of red licorice that turn to chocolate. Full-bodied, chewy and rich with lots of fruit and ripe tannins. Very good indeed. -- J.S.
