This wine is a Bordeaux Future. It is not expected to arrive in stock until
Spring/Summer 2006.
Robert Parker Rating 90-92
The antithesis of so many Margaux offerings, which are generally open-knit,
forward, low in acidity, and already easy to drink, the muscular, heavyweight
2003 Kirwan is impressively structured, and built for the long haul. Deep purple-colored
with a tight but promising nose of black fruits, melted licorice, earth, and
spice box, it is a layered, medium to full-bodied, deep, concentrated effort
that should be forgotten for 5-6 years. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2020+
Wine Spectator Rating 92-94
Beautiful, bold and polished with blackberry and cedar aromas and flavors. Full-bodied,
with silky tannins and a long, long finish. New World-style. Delicious yet structured.

Decanter Rating 3 Stars
Very deep ruby, big, concentrated wine with rather four-square, showing more
extraction than elegance, but the fruit is very good and florality and fragrance
will come through. 2008-18.
