A tribute to three decades of winemaking excellence, the Cuvée XXXI Zinfandel takes a layered approach to winemaking. Utilizing fruit from various premium vineyards as well as barrel aging the wine in both French and American oak casks allows us the ability to create a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. They produce this wine as an introduction to the Rosenblum Cellars style of Zinfandel—a fruit-forward, rich and distinct wine. It is smooth and readily drinkable upon release with no need for aging. Designated with a cuvée number, each successive blend honors the winery’s history with Zinfandel—“America’s Heritage Grape”.
The Cuvée XXXI features aromas of black cherry, blackberry and raspberry, as well as spice and vanilla overtones. Medium-bodied and replete with acidity, this food-friendly wine pairs well with pizza, pasta, barbecue meats and poultry, as well as Italian and Mediterranean style foods.
