Maraska Maraschino is the original liquer from Zadar acknoledged all over the world. Recognizable by its distinctive sweet flavour and aromatic bouquet, it is prepared according to the traditional recipe created by the pharmacists of the Dominican monastery at the beginning of 16th century. Distilled from the Dalmatian marasca cherry, it has been a feast for numerous fastidious connoisseurs ever since. Croatian Tourist Association included this Maraschino wicker bottle in the list of authentic Croatian souvenirs. Also, it was included in the protocol of the Holy seat in the Vatican.
