"The 2004 Masia Carreras is 50% Garnacha, 35% Carinena, and the balance Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. The wine was aged in French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Opaque and brooding, it reveals notes of crushed stone, wood smoke, leather, red cherry, and black raspberry. On the palate the wine is slightly compact but 2-3 years of additional cellaring should round it out." -Rated 90, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
