It has lively acidity and a refreshing, mountain-stream stoniness. Drink now through 2010. 800 cases imported." -Rated 89, Wine Spectator Untitled "A rare white wine from Priorat, the 2006 Les Brugueres is produced from 100% Garnacha Blanca. It comes from a single vineyard with 100+-year-old vines planted on the licorella (schist) soil for which Priorat is famous. Light gold-colored, it emits pleasant aromas of mineral and melon. This is followed by a full-bodied wine with good ripeness, balancing acidity, and medium length. It is an intellectually pleasing wine that lacks that extra dimension of excitement. Drink it over the next 2 years.
" -Rated 90, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Untitled "Pale straw. Intensely perfumed nose offers a vibrant array of fresh and dried pit fruits, apple and floral honey. There's a strong mineral tone to the racy orchard fruit and peach pit flavors. Gains a fleshy quality on the back, finishing with pliant orange and cling peach flavors. No wood here. (Eric Solomon Selections, Charlotte, NC)" -Rated 90, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
