"The 2004 Mosaic is a blend of 60% Carinena, 30% Garnacha, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 14 months in 100% new French oak. It was bottled without fining or filtration. Opaque purple-colored, the wine’s bouquet roars from the glass with aromas of slate, scorched earth, espresso, blueberry, and black cherry. This is followed by a rich, plush, layered wine which nicely conceals enough tannin to support 1-2 years of further cellaring.
