Admiral Dubroca was born in Entre-Deux-Mers in 1830. Loaded with his finest selections of wine, he travelled up the Dordogne by barge to Bordeaux, which was the last stop before the journeys that took him to the four corners of the earth. He was fully aware of the special features of each wine that he selected during his tours of the vineyards. His contemporaries knew him as a man of rigour and discernment. A range of wines bears his name in tribute to his memory. The finest grape varieties have been selected to make this prestige wine. The wines are matured in oak barrels in the finest Bordeaux tradition, which allows them to obtain a perfect expression of the chosen qualities of wines.
A lovely crimson colour, Amiral Dubroca Bordeaux red exhales red berry aromas with fine, oaky notes. A delightfully fresh, elegant structure. Serve with terrines, roast and grilled meat, and cheese.
