In Latin Laborum means "FROM WORK" and it was chosen as the name of this emblematic line of wines because they are convinced that a great wine requires significant work on the part of everyone on the winery's team.
Thanks to the dedication, work, and commitment of everyone who makes up that team, they are able to take the art of making fine wines to a higher level.
Color: Elegant greenish-yellow with brilliance and vibrancy.
Nose: Complex, it invites discovery of its descriptors in notes of honey and white fruits. Well-integrated oak.
Mouth: Balanced attack with sweetness and freshness, full on the palate, with a long and attractive finish.
"El Porvenir de Los Andes’ 2008 Laborum Torrontes was sourced from a 40-year-old vineyard at 6000 feet of elevation. Medium straw-colored, it offers up a fragrant nose of baking spices, lychee, pit fruits, and a hint of tropical aromas. Crisp, balanced, and lengthy, this dry, tasty effort will provide pleasure over the next 1-2 years." -Rated 87, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
