Bulleit Rye is an award-winning, small batch, straight rye whiskey with a character of unparalleled spice and complexity. Released in 2011, it continues to enjoy recognition as one of the highest quality ryes available.
Russet in color, with rich oaky aromas. The flavor is notably smooth, with hints of vanilla, honey, and spice. Finishes crisp and clean, with long, lingering flavors.
90 proof (45% ABV) • 95% rye, 5% malted barley
0.6 oz. Bulleit Rye
0.25 oz. sweet vermouth
0.2 oz. elderflower liqueur
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash Peychaud's bitters
0.25 oz. Cognac
Stir & strain into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
BULLEIT RYE MANHATTAN
1 oz. Bulleit Rye
0.5 oz. sweet vermouth
3 dash Angostura Bitters
Stir & strain into a coupe cocktail glass.
Garnish with a cherry.
BULLEIT RYE SAZERAC
1.3 oz. Bulleit Rye
0.25 oz. Absinthe
1 cube sugar
3 dash Peychaud's bitters
Muddle sugar and bitters, add the rye and stir with ice.
Strain into an old fashioned glass that's been chilled and rinsed with absinthe.
