|TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK|
Doesn't say so on the label, but Cali/Argentina superstar Paul Hobbs makes the wine for this small, family-owned, estate in Mendoza. And while the Paul Hobbs quality and style are clearly present here, there's also remarkable balance and restraint (just 13.9% ABV). From 60 year-old vines at 850 meters, the wine is fermented in tank and then aged for 8 months in new French oak. The result is a rich, dark, Malbec with loads of crunchy black fruit, notes of roasted meat and spice, soft tannins, and a loooong finish that just sails on and on. A Malbec that will work very well at table or to just sip and enjoy.
