Tap 357 Maple Rye Canadian Whisky is produced under the auspices of Michel Marcil, who works in a distillery in western Canada. The name comes from the 3yr, 5yr, and 7yr rye whiskies. The aging is done in virign as well as 1st and 2nd fill ex-bourbon barrels of American oak. The final spirit is infused with "Canada 1 / Grade A" maple syrup from Quebec before bottling, which is the source of the word "tap" in the label. The final product is mean to celebrate the flavors of rye and maple, which the press release calls "two distinct flavors" of Canada.
