These wines are regionally unique because they represent a blend of nine different Pinot Noir clones, including heritage varieties that can be traced back to Burgundy area of France. The result is a silky wine, but one that is lushly complex, featuring acidity, earthiness, spice, and intriguing aromatics. In any given vintage, you may find scents of cinnamon, cedar, and cumin meeting flavors of mushroom, leather, black tea, and dark black cherry, all swirling together in perfect harmony, much like the rainbow of clones in the vineyard.
