On appearance, this Chardonnay is the color of golden straw. The first nose delivers notes of vanilla and lemon zest. After a swirl, the deeper notes of honey, pear and quince become evident. WINEMAKER'S TASTING NOTES Les Pierres has some mystery and intrigue. It hints at rich, complex layers of depth but is not obvious and forward. Deeply aromatic and enticing, the wine exhibits aromas of orange blossoms, lime zest and minerals with subtle notes of sweet oak.
