The 2008 vintage is medium garnet in color. On the nose, this wine shows inviting blueberry, ripe cherry and floral accents, with smoke notes and a touch of minerality. Segueing to flavors of blueberry and cherrycola on the palate, it displays a seamless blend of richness, depth and silky texture that is ready to be enjoyed now and over the next three-to-five years.

"Ripe, featuring pure, delicate and generous plum, black cherry and wild berry fruit. Full-bodied, with pleasant aromas and a clean finish. Drink now through 2013. 8,000 cases made." -Wine Spectator

"The 2008 Pinot Noir Kali Hart has a medium ruby color and a big, smoky, spicy nose with plenty of mulberry and black cherry fruit. Almost Burgundian in its aromatics, the wine is medium-bodied, pure, and nicely textured. This is a delicious, well-made Pinot Noir to drink over the next 2-4 years. This is the most impressive lineup of wines I have seen from Talbott in a number of years. Their less expensive second label is a noteworthy value." -Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
